Microlit Lilpet Pro is the world’s first miniature pipette with a tip ejector. The built-in tip ejector facilitates safe ejection of used tip after pipetting and thus enhances the application of the Lilpet for use with blood samples and hazardous chemicals. The two step plunger operation of Lilpet Pro ensures last drop dispensing to achieve the prescribed accuracy and coefficient of variation as per ISO standards. The error limits (Accuracy and Coefficient of Variation) mentioned above are in accordance with the nominal capacity (or maximum volume) indicated on the instrument. These are obtained by using the instrument with distilled water at equilibrium, the ambient temperature of 20 °C while operating it smoothly and steadily. The error limits are in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8655-2.

Product FAQs

The single-step and double-step lilpets have one and two piston strokes, respectively. The plunger is depressed in a single step until it reaches the FIRST stop, which is the lowest position for both aspiration and dispensing liquid. To aspirate the liquid, depress the plunger only until the FIRST step, and to dispense, depress the plunger until the SECOND step to ensure the last drop is dispensed. The double step lilpet facilitates reverse pipetting and reduces liquid loss, improving pipette accuracy. These features make the pipette suitable for use with test kits.
Fixed volume pipettes are designed to provide accurate and precise sampling while dispensing only the nominal volume. In contrast to variable volume pipettes, these are ideal for working with viscous or dense liquids because they dispense the same amount of liquid each time. They allow the user to work more quickly and reduce the possibility of manual errors caused by accidental volume changes with variable volume pipettes.
